Internet Lauds Alia Bhatt For Sending Flowers To Kangana Ranaut BUT Rangoli Passes Snide Remark, 'Mazze Aa Rahe Hain'
This year, Kangana Ranaut is the chosen one to receive the Padma Shri award. The announcement was done two days ago. With this, Alia Bhatt sent Kangana flowers and a card congratulating her. A good gesture, but it seems, Rangoli is having her own fun
Two days ago, it was announced that Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut will be awarded the Padma Shri title for her immense contribution to cinema and otherwise. Kangana had taken to social media and posted a video thanking everyone for the honour. Congratulations soon started pouring in from all corners for Queen actress. Friends from fraternity too wished her on her win. Among all, it was Alia Bhatt too who sent her flowers and a card, congratulating on her win. A gesture from Alia despite the bad history they share. But guess, who is having good fun witnessing all the exchange. It is Kangana's sister Rangoli who is pretty amused with Alia.
Rangoli took to Twitter to sort of mock Alia's gesture. She wrote, "Yeh dekho Alia ji ne bhi Kangana ko phool bheje hain, Kangana ka pata nahin magar mujhe bahut maza aa raha hai." While Internet lauded Alia's gesture, Rangoli did seem to have passed a snide comment. It was last year that Kangana had taken a jibe at Alia's Gully Boy performance. She had stated, "I am embarrassed. What is there to beat in Gully Boy Performance? Same snappy muh phat girl. Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised." Kangana had once even called Alia Karan Johar's 'puppet'. Keeping all that behind, Alia extended an olive branch towards Kangana with this gesture.
